Isuzu Commercial Truck of Canada (ICTC) has launched a new parts distribution center in Toronto. The facility, which began operations on Oct. 21, is operated by JD Smith.
The distribution center is positioned to improve the supply chain for Isuzu’s dealer network, ensuring faster delivery of commercial vehicle parts nationwide, the company said in a release, adding that in cases of high demand, the facility will receive backup support from U.S.-based Isuzu parts distribution center.
“We are extremely pleased to have been selected to operate the Isuzu parts distribution center,” said Steve Croft, JD Smith vice-president, organizational strategy and business.
Headquartered in Mississauga, Ont., ICTC distributes Isuzu commercial trucks across Canada.
